Cold, isn'it?

Ok, yesterday i didn't want to go on with my works, and because of the beautiful sunny day, I decided to have a car trip.
The car trip itself is anyhow pleasant and relaxing for me, but if you add sunny day, mountain's passes and reflex photo camera it become amazing!
So, at about 1pm i took my car, i went to gas station to refuel and then i drove through the Valsugana, with the proposal to do the "little wonderful mountain ring", as I usually call it.
The LWMR is basically a circular itinerary well known to bikers community for its wonderful mountain bow-streets, for the panorama and for the two high mountain passes.
Anyway, yesterday wasn't a good day for a bikers...
The first mountain pass is Manghen Pass: starting from Borgo Valsugana at about 385 meters, the 23-kilometer-long road climbs the mountain reaching an elevation of 2047 meters. Immagine yourself starting from a temperature of 18° C, with autumn clothes, and reach temperatures a couple of degrees below zero! So cold in there, but so beautiful panorama!
After a pee-stop over a rocky hill with the wind blowing around me and the ice freezing my toes, I resumed the trip downward to Molina di Fiemme (950m). Here the streets are wide and with a lot of traffic hence I will not talk about the trip from here to Predazzo.
From Predazzo(1018m) starts the second (and last) mountain pass of the little ring, Passo Rolle (1984). Passo Rolle is not the most beautiful Dolimiti's pass but I have a sentimental feeling with it becuse its elevation is equal to my birth year...Crazy, isn't it?
This pass has a lot of frequentation in winter season for the richness of ski lift installations.
After a few shots at the beautiful mountain, I climbed down and then i stopped in a pub to drink a strengthening, hot, sweety orange Punch (punch, not Ponch!).
Before resuming the trip and returning back home, a relaxing cigarette watching clouds passing by the peaks and the sun going away...

Here some technical facts of the LWMR:
Length: 228 km (from Cusinati) 208 km (from Bassano)
Max elevation: 2047 m
Duration: 4h without stops
Higher temp.: 20°C (Cusinati)
Lowest temp.: -1°C (Passo Manghen)
Max grade: 16% (Passo Manghen)

And here some photos (in low res):

Well done On. Neckerz. And the final scene, "a relaxing cigarette watching clouds passing by the peaks and the sun going away..." it's something magic. I love those quiet relaxing environments...
